Developing Project Management Expertise
A local government organisation recognised the need to run ongoing training to build the skills of staff in project management. Projects were a vital part of the organisation’s operations covering a range of scenarios from capital works projects to community events. Marana Consulting Group worked with the organisation to include their Project Management methodology into 2 levels of training – at an introductory level for staff new to projects and at an advanced level for staff with existing skills or those running more complex projects. These workshops have been well attended since 2007 and are an ongoing part of the training calendar.
Marana regularly develops and conducts project management training from introductory to Diploma level. Courses can be designed to follow the 10 PMBOK functions or to suit an organisation’s own methodology and tools.
